Background I was born on the east coast, but I have lived in San Diego for nearly all of my life. I previously worked for four years in a private Montessori school. This will be my second year as a public school teacher. I am proud of being one of the first teachers at the new San Diego Cooperative Charter School. |

Interests, Activities, & Plans Right now, I am working toward a Master's degree in education. The program is almost complete. After I earn the M.A., I plan on teaching in San Diego for a few more years. During this time, I'd like to earn Montessori Certification. Then, I will relocate to the San Francisco Bay Area and continue working in public schools (preferably inner city schools). |

Other Interesting Things
I am an intermediate practioner of the Martial Arts. Unfortunately,
I have missed quite a few practice sessions due to academic responsibilities.
Hopefully, I will get back into it soon. I enjoy playing the
violin and cello when I have the time. I am also a big fan of poetry
and spoken word. |
